Delete Your Account

You can delete your Troopo account at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. This page applies to the Troopo app by ConnectPeople Apps LLC.

Option 1 — In the app (immediate)

  1. Open Troopo and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. Your profile, your children's profiles, and your sign-in credentials are deleted immediately.

Option 2 — By request (no app needed)

Email support@troopo.app with the subject line "Delete my account" and include the phone number you signed up with. To protect your account, we verify ownership by sending a confirmation text to that number before deleting. Requests are completed within 30 days; you'll receive a confirmation when done.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile (name, phone number, zipcode, avatar photo)
  • Your children's profiles (names, grades, schools)
  • Your synced contact records and network connections
  • Your device push-notification tokens and in-app notifications
  • Your sign-in credentials

What may remain temporarily

Records created through interaction with other users — such as messages you sent in a playdate conversation or your RSVP on another parent's playdate — are not removed by in-app deletion alone. To have these removed as well, use Option 2 (or email us after deleting in-app) and we will erase them within 30 days. Content-safety reports may be retained where required to meet legal or moderation obligations.
