Delete Your Data

You can delete specific data from Troopo while keeping your account. Looking to delete everything? See Delete Your Account.

What you can delete in the app

A child's profile

Go to Profile, select the child, and remove them. Their name, grade, and school are deleted from our servers.

Your avatar photo

Go to Profile and remove or replace your photo.

A playdate you created

Open the playdate and delete it. Invitations and its conversation threads stop being visible to participants.

Data deleted by request

For data that has no in-app delete control, email support@troopo.app with the subject line "Delete my data", from any device, and tell us what to remove. Include the phone number you signed up with; we verify ownership by sending a confirmation text to that number. Requests are completed within 30 days. You can request deletion of, for example:

Your synced contact records (or ask us to disable contact matching for your account)
Messages you sent in playdate conversations
Your RSVPs / participation records on other parents' playdates
Your zipcode or other profile fields

Data we may retain

We may retain content-safety reports and records we need to meet legal or moderation obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
